My Bad A** Yogi Grandma
My Grandma Kay is a yogi, a retired school psychologist, a liberal, a preacher’s wife, a brazen leader and a huge inspiration to me. I love her with all my heart and even have her name: Cassidi Kay Stuckman. She is very supportive of my yoga journey and blog.
She emailed me this ‘blessing’ which I plan to share in my first yoga classes of 2013.
May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter
the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers
beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the
courage to follow its path.
May the flame of anger free you from falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and may
anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that
seek no attention.
May you be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart
of wonder.
She attended my farewell class at Orange Sky Yoga before I moved to Chicago…
Thought I’d send this on tonight,so you don’t have to wait until morning tosee what your Grand-daughter sent out tonight. What a nice tribute to my friend, and also toherBad A– Grandma. Love it Me
You know how to warm a grandma’s heart. Thanks, Your GMA
