2012 was the year of the handstand. I got a handstand for the first time and went buck wild. I neglected my backbends in 2012. I would never miss an opportunity to rock out an inversion in class or in my home practice, but when backbend time came around I would inevitably poop out. This year will be different. 2013 is the year of the backbend. Dropbacks and Eka Pada Rajakoptasana baby! Watch out.
