Beat the winter blues! Take a trip off of your mat and into the air.
I will lead you safely off of your feet and break down several inverted poses like Sirsasana A and B (headstand and tripod headstand), Adho Mukha Vrksanana (handstand), Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand) as well as several arm balances including variations of bakasana (crow).
Inversions have numerous benefits including:
- Improved circulation and mental awareness
- Calming of the mind
- Stimulates the endocrine system
- Help to relieve depression & anxiety
- Can lower blood pressure
- Reduce the effects of age and gravity on the body
We will play with fun transitions and variations, think light thoughts and find a new perspective with this adventurous upside down workshop.
