I overdid the Eka Pada Rajakapotasana last night. It’s safe to say I hit the backbends a little too hard. After my intense practice I felt nauseous. This has never happened to me before. I’ve heard of people getting dizzy or nauseous immediately after doing Ustrasana (camel pose) but I had to lay down several hours after I left my mat because I felt so sick. Not to mention my back hurt this morning when I woke up. The body will let you know, in all sorts of ways, when you need to back off and take it easy. Today I will hydrate and have a hair of the downdog, but I’ll take it easy with a Yin practice.
