Happy Summer Solstice.

The universe is granting you a little extra time next Friday (June 21)  How will you spend it?  Spend it with me and the beautiful Sarah Helt at Yoga Loft!   We are teaching a Summer Solstice Mala. 108 Sun Salutes to ring in the summer and purify our body, mind and soul from the long, cold winter (and spring).  It’s a physically and mentally challenging class that will leave you refreshed and empowered.

Why celebrate? The summer solstice marks the longest day and shortest night of the year. The word “solstice” means “standing of the sun.’ What better way to celebrate the sun than salute it…108 times!

This is an excellent time to reflect on our journey, think about where we are and where we want to be.
This class is open to all levels and it is NOT required that you complete all 108 rounds. Rest is welcomed and encouraged!
We will use 108 pieces of sea glass, stones and shells I picked from a beach in Rogers Park to count out the 108 salutes.
