Compassionate Mondays.

It’s my favorite time of the week.  Waking up late on Monday morning, drinking a cup of coffee, sitting on my love seat with Floyd and writing my blog.  Wishing you a happy Monday and I hope to see you on the mat.

This week’s classes will focus on compassion and the heart center. I recently read the quote: ‘The mind screams and the heart whispers.’  In our practice this week we will work to turn down the mind chatter and let the heart shout.  And before leaving our mat and letting our light shine for others, cultivating more self-acceptance and compassion.

This time of year can be magical.  It can also be a time of giving too much of yourself away. Shopping, traveling, holiday parties… Making sure we don’t deplete, by charging ourselves with self-care so that we can share our magic with others. Om Shanti.

      Expressing compassion is center of it all. Being compassionate in a difficult situation shifts the world around you.
